This brain shaped neon light sculpture is one of only eight made by a desigigner who recently committed suicide.  When I see it I wonder whether his wish to create such a bright, positive brain image occured at a time when he was already feeling depressed and suicidal.  As a psychiatrist , I find it represents visually what I try to do in my clinic with words and medication.   I never met Cedric Ragot but would like to remember him for his work and in particular this beautiful and now steeped in sadness piece of neon art.
